About Me
Welcome you to Hannah’s Happy Hedgehogs Childminding. I am Ofsted Registered Childminder. I look after children from 0 to 5 years old. I live in Sutton on the hill on a farm. I live with my Partner who works for a construction company. On the farm in the spring we will able to go and see the baby lambs and tractors in the fields. Molly the mini Labradoodle will come and play when my Mum and Dad go on holiday.
I decided to become a childminder as I love working with children but wanted to offer a more personal service to help a small number of children develop and grow with confidence within a home environment. I decided to offer a childminding service as I love working with children and wanted to offer a more personal service. With my nursery teaching background gives me a great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stages. I will use this to help the children in my care to development and grow into happy confident children in a safe and caring environment.
My Experience
I have been working with children for over 10 years and have experience with children from 3 months to 12 years old.
From a young age I have always known that I have wanted to work with children. When leaving school, I studied for my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education. During this time, I worked in various Nurseries and After School settings around Derbyshire.
My Qualifications
CACHE NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development
Female Genital Mutilation: Recognising and Preventing
Prevent Duty Training
Paediatric First Aid completed by tiger lily
Safeguarding Children
Plus all the qualifications which allow me to run my Childminding Business
My Availability
I got spaces from 7.30 am to 6 pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Part time, full time and short day.
I take childcare choices vouchers and can offer funded places
