About Me
My name’s Holly, I’m 36 years old and live in Renfrew with my husband and 8yr old son. I have an SVQ3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development, a clean driving licence and my own car.
I started my childcare career in 2007 and have a great deal of experience both as a nanny and as an Early Years Practitioner in nurseries. I have cared for children aged from 9 months to 9 years old.
I am currently a nanny 2 days a week for an amazing wee boy in Paisley. The post is ending in August, after 2 years with the family, as he is starting nursery. I have formed a close bond with the whole family and will be keeping in touch with them.
I also babysit for a lovely 4 year old 2 evenings a week.
I am now looking for another post, preferably 2 or 3 days a week and am also available for weekend babysitting.
I like to provide the children in my care with a full range of activities, outdoors as much as possible and always based on their interests. These are some of the things we enjoy:
visiting farm parks and country parks where we can explore nature;
play parks to encourage physical development;
attending local toddler groups, facilitating social development;
weekly baking/cookery classes;
arts and crafts to develop creativity and fine motor skills;
local libraries, promoting early literacy;
art galleries, museums and the Science Centre which provide a wide range of opportunities for learning and fun.

2012 travelling in Australia for 2 years - in my final year worked as a nanny in Sydney.
2014 joined Tinies Childcare Agency and did various temp jobs in nurseries and as an emergency nanny.
My son was born in 2016 and after taking time off to look after him I returned to work in February 2017 with a lovely family caring for their 2 year old son.
They moved abroad and I started another nanny post with 2 girls aged 1 and 4 in March 2018.
In 2019 I became registered as a Childminder with the Care Inspectorate but lockdown happened. When schools returned I became an after school nanny for a local family.
In 2021 I became a nanny to 2 pre-school children in the west end and continue to babysit for them.
I also started my current position with the little boy aged 2 in Paisley who I look after on a Wed and thu.
This will be ending mid August when he starts nursery.
