My Summary

My Experience

Between 13-15 I volunteered at an adventure playground and a youth club too which had children aged from 6-13 years old. I enjoyed doing this very much during weekends and summer holidays, I built many strong bonds and felt very independent as I had many responsible while doing this volunteering.
Once I turned 16 I started college and done a 10 week pre apprenticeship course where I learnt about interviews, software and where I learnt how to prepare for a job.
Once the course finished I was offered an interview at Barney Bears Nursery West Ham Branch. After doing a trail week there they offered me a place as an unqualified apprentice in November 2017. While i worked at this nursery I have achieved my level 2 childcare qualification and also gained a qualification in first aid so I am now a paediatric first aider :)) I was based in the 2-3 year old room but have worked in the 3month - 2 years and also the 3-4 year old room many times too. Since working at Barney Bears I have gained so many responsibilities such as preparing snack, nappy changing, making bottles, setting up activities, taking the children on trips, doing parents evening and gaining up to max 7 key children where I have to do 1 observation a week on each child and keep there learning journeys up to date. I love my job very much and I love the kids like my own and it was very sad to leave them as I had very special bonds with all the children especially the ones who have been there since I started. I sadly left this job in 2020 when I decided I needed a change I then joined Winterton House Nursery where I stayed working for a year again a lot of the responsibilities were the same however in this nursery I had a lot of key children who has special educational needs which taught me the best way to play and interact with them which I am now confident with.
I’ve also babysat since leaving this job for 2 families so references for babysitting is available if need be.

My Availability

I am looking to work part time and I’m flexible
Monday all day
Saturday and Sunday during the day and the evening times too.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

I include travel cost in my fees :)
