About Me

I am a mother to 2 adults and step mum to 2 boys when they visit us. I love to see children grow in confidence, enabling and encouraging them to learn, explore their environment and celebrating their personal achievements.

My Experience

I have had many years of childcare experience including being a nanny, childminder and working in a school. I’ve had a break from childcare to support young adults with autism and other learning/physical challenges.

My Qualifications

I have completed many courses including Level 3 first aid (first aid at work), food safety and hygiene, Dementia Care and SEND support. I have L3 Understanding Autism, Understanding behaviour that challenges, Mental Health 1st Aid, extensive Safeguarding experience and currently doing a L3 SEND course and L2 Childcare practitioner . I ran my own childminding business and was always fully booked. I had a career move into primary school where I have provided first aid, 1:1 SEND and group phonics interventions. My DBS is on the Updater Service. I am the Safeguarding Officer for Wallingford Rugby Club.

My Availability

I have taken a role within a school but would be available for adhoc hours during the school holidays and occasional inset days.
