Hi, I'm Jess, a friendly, creative, sunshine filled South African.
I have over 7 years experience looking after children. I'm also a qualified Psychotherapist/ Counsellor with many years experience working in mental health and well being.
I’m hoping to find some part-time / ad-hoc / temporary childcare work while I set up my private practice. I'm also a keen gardener, lover of pets and happy to help with any cleaning or household organising.
I consider myself to be creative, kind and empathetic. I think these characteristics shine through in the way I look after children. I always do things to the best of my ability and am reliable, trustworthy and loyal. I truly love being able to be part of a children's development and growth and feel that my understanding of developmental psychology, art and play therapy, allows me to do this to a high standard.
My Experience
I have 7 years experience looking after children, ranging from the ages of 6 months to 13 years. I have worked sole charge, alongside parents, looked after only children as well as groups of up to 5 at once. I am happy to cook, do creative activities and household duties.
My Qualifications
MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.
BA (hons) in Psychosocial Studies.
Level 2 in counselling skills.
CPD in a compassion focused approach to self criticism.
Emergency paediatric first aid.
DBS checked.

- Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)
