My Experience
My Journey in Childcare
My journey in childcare began in 2022 as an assistant childminder, where I gained valuable hands-on experience and discovered just how much I love working with little ones. In November 2023, I proudly earned my Ofsted Childminder Registration Certificate, and I’m now thrilled to begin this new chapter by opening my own setting.
I believe that childhood should be filled with discovery, creativity, and joy. My mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can thrive, grow, and make magical memories every day.
Whether it’s story time, messy play, nature walks, or quiet cuddles, I’m here to support each child’s unique journey—and to give parents peace of mind knowing their little ones are in caring, trusted hands.

My Qualifications
Qualifications & Training
I have completed all the required courses for registered childminders, including:
Paediatric First Aid – This course equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to respond effectively to medical emergencies involving children, including how to deal with common childhood injuries, illnesses, and conditions. It covers CPR, choking, and how to manage medical situations until professional help arrives.
Safeguarding Course/Child Protection and Neglect – This training is designed to help you recognise the signs of abuse, neglect, and other safeguarding concerns in children. It teaches you how to take appropriate action to protect children, including reporting procedures, and understanding your legal responsibilities.
Food Allergy Training – This course provides you with the knowledge of the common food allergies in children, how to recognise symptoms of an allergic reaction, and how to handle food allergies safely. It includes learning how to read food labels and create safe meal plans for children with allergies.
Food Hygiene – This course covers the fundamental principles of food safety and hygiene, teaching you how to store, prepare, and serve food safely. It includes how to avoid contamination, maintain clean kitchen environments, and understand the importance of hygiene when handling food.
Prevent Training – This course focuses on the Prevent Duty, which is part of the government’s counter-terrorism strategy to prevent radicalisation. It teaches you how to identify children at risk of radicalisation and how to provide support to those in danger of being influenced by extremist ideologies.
FGM (Female Genital Mutilation) Awareness – This training educates you on the practice of female genital mutilation, its harmful effects, and the legal and safeguarding responsibilities concerning FGM. It teaches you how to recognise the signs and what actions to take if you suspect a child is at risk.

Madalina has been looking after our 3 year old since September, 5 days a week including school pick up. She’s a kind, reliable, lovely person and her home is full of toys. Our kid loved playing with the other kids Madalina looked after and her own child. On half term she took them for great days out. I’d recommend her to anyone in the area.

Madalina looked after my boy when I needed some short-term childcare.
My son had a great time with her. She often took children on trips to local parks or to outdoor activities. She made them varied and healthy lunches, which they often ate as picnics whilst out and about on their trips.
Her house seemed very well set up for childminding, and she had toys for a variety of ages. My boy also really enjoyed getting to know the other children.
Madalina is lovely. It is very open and friendly, and easy to talk to.
I would definitely recommend her as a fantastic Childminding.

Our baby girl has been with Madalina regularly since August last year, and I couldn't recommend Madalina highly enough! She is very reliable and trustworthy, caring and just loves babies and kids so much like her own. Madalina always finds new activities for our baby girl, from crafting to soft play to visiting animal farms, and my baby girl always had a great time with her! Without a doubt, I will be booking Madalina regularly in the future, because I know my baby is in the most capable hands.

I know Mădălina for couple of years now. She has looked many times after my 5 year old boy. She is a very trustable person, always willing to help and support. She is kind and patient and she understand very well what the child needs and wants.
Her house is lovely , safe, very well equipped and has everything needed for a child to play, do activities and learn.
I do recommend her a lot, as you can always count on her if you want your child to be safe, loved, cared and supported.
