My Summary

My Experience

I have been a nanny for 6 years working with 3 different families. One with siblings, school aged picking them up from school. The second was a single child, picking up from nursery, going to parks, galleries and setting up play dates. I then cooked dinner for the whole family and helped put the child to bed. The third was a nanny share with a 7 and 8 month old.

At the nursery I looked after children from the age of 3 months to 5 years old. I have learnt every child’s needs and interests and this allows me to plan activities to each child’s individual needs.

Through uni and college, I have done over 1000 hours of work experience in a nursery and primary school which has allowed me to gain experience working with children of a wide range of ages from 0-7. I plan weekly activities with the children to help engage their learning and development and get them ready for school.

I was also a brownies leader which gives me experience when working with older children. In this role, I was looking after girls aged 7-10. This gave me the skills I need to keep older children engaged in the fun activities we plan each week.

At my church, I am also the Nursery leader, and I am in charge of the room. This means I need to set up the toys each week and make sure each child is playing happily and learning. I also provide a healthy snack and track the child’s progress.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 childcare diploma and am currently working towards my degree in early years.
I also have my SENCO qualification.
I am trained in first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene.
I have a A in maths and English as well as 11 other GCSE’s grade A-C.

My Availability

I am available all days throughout the week. I can start as early as you need but cannot work past 6pm.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £20.00 per hour
• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (net)
