Looking for a babysitter in Dalkeith for our 2 year old & 6 year old.
We are a family of four: me, my husband, our daughter who is 6, and our boy who is 2 years old. Both me and my husband used to be academics, but we changed lifestyles and now run a small bookshop in the Southside of Edinburgh. We live in a house on the edge of Dalkeith with a big, beautiful garden, and have a cat and 3 chickens too.
We're a pescatarian family (mostly... ). Our daughter is a sociable, hilarious, loving bundle of high energy excitement about the world who goes to school from Monday - Friday, and our boy is a relaxed, content little human who is at childcare Monday - Thursday.
My Requirements
I’m looking for someone to work with us as an occasional babysitter - evenings, Fridays, or weekends, every now and then. Nothing regular.
We live in Dalkeith and I would like someone who is local or who is willing to come out this way (there's a bus that goes to our door from the centre of town). Our house is in a beautiful area, and we have a big garden to play in.
We would love to find a native French speaker, but this is not a necessity. Mostly we want someone who is at ease with 2 year olds - including changing nappies, and getting them to sleep (he’s pretty easy) - and is ready to meet the energy of my daughter, and finds joy looking after kids.
