Looking For An Occasional Babysitter
About Me
Looking for a babysitter in Dalkeith for our 7 month old, and occasionally also for our 3 year old & 7 year old.
We are a family of five. Both me and my husband used to be academics, but we changed lifestyles and now run a small bookshop in the Southside of Edinburgh. We live in a house on the edge of Dalkeith with a big, beautiful garden, and have two cats.
We're a pescatarian family (mostly... ). Our daughter is a sociable, hilarious, loving bundle of high energy excitement about the world who goes to school from Monday - Friday, and our boy is a relaxed, content little human who is at the school nursery from Monday - Friday.
My Requirements
I’m looking for someone to work with us as an occasional or a regular babysitter during the day, looking after my 7 month old. And potentially also some evenings or weekends, every now and then with the ‘big’ kids.
We live in Dalkeith and I would like someone who is local or who is willing to come out this way (there's a bus that goes to our door from the centre of town). Our house is in a beautiful area, and we have a big garden to play in.
We would love to find a native French speaker, but this is not a necessity. Mostly we want someone who is at ease with babies - including changing nappies, and getting them to sleep. And someone who finds joy in caring for kids.
Timings can be flexible. Ideally I’d like help on Mondays or Tuesdays during the day at home with the baby.
