About Me
I am qualified as a nursery nurse, a general nurse and a midwife.
I am also mum of three and a grandmother.
I can offer short term help and support with your new baby, helping you to establish your new family life with confidence.
I am a practicing midwife and so can also offer one to one preparation sessions as well as providing all the care needed for you and your baby in the early days, avoiding trips out to clinics. Weighing, help and advice for feeding (breast/chest feeding or formula feeding), newborn bloodspot test and much more.
I offer a full range of private midwifery care including pregnancy care, birth care (home or hospital) and full postnatal care.
Single visits or intensive support packages available.
My Experience
Nursery nurse, including working with children with hearing loss, and in special care baby unit.
General nurse, including general practice and accident and emergency.
Midwife, including extensive experience with complex pregnancies and babies with special needs.
My Qualifications
Registered midwife and registered nurse (both current active registrations with NMC)
NNEB nursery nurse qualification
Advanced diploma in counselling
Specialist skills in diabetes care in pregnancy, bereavement care, screening and fetal medicine.
My Availability
Single visits or daily visits in the first few weeks. Please contact me with your requirements and I will try to help. Overnight sessions sometimes available.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Maternity Nursing from £30.00 per hour (gross)
Services available on a “per hour” basis or as a package.
