Temporary Bio: Hi all I am currently an Ofsted registered Nanny in the process of registering as a childminder.
I currently am a Ofsted registered Nanny for a lovely 4 year old boy in Twickenham and soon to start with his baby sister when his mum comes off her maternity leave.
I live with my partner who is in the police and our lovely Border Collie pup in Staines but currently travel to Whitton/Twickenham as that is where I grew up and already had a job with a lovely family before moving but now have my own home I am ready to begin my childminding journey!
I am currently in the process of registering as childminder so looking to start in January 2024. Im spending the next few months finalising this as well as starting to build the colourful and positive setup in my home with plenty and toys and activities Including a garden for outdoor play. My mum is a childminder and I have almost grown up as her assistant even to the point now where I have days off I just go round and help her out as it’s what I love to do. Most days we are out doing something fun whether it’s simply to the playground or on day out to the farm so it’s really nice to have someone to meet with and socialise so the children get to see familiar faces to be able to develop there personal, social, emotional and communication with one another.
I am 23 years old. Im also a big animal lover! I’ve got all kinds of pets so I’m never afraid to get stuck in with the kids whether it’s digging for worms in the mud or handling creepy crawlers!
I have been in childcare for almost 8 years now and I just love it, it really is one of the most rewarding jobs. I did 4.5 years in a Nursery in Twickenham where I started as an apprentice and worked my way up to Room leader. I really enjoyed this but got a little bit too stuck in the same old routine so branched out a bit to find a nanny job which was so lovely. Still very much routine based as I know that’s very important for children to have structure but we could get out more and experience a bit more real world stuff which is what I love being able to do with children at this age.

My Experience
I worked in a Nursery in Twickenham as a Room leader of a group with the age 18months to 3 years. But I also worked with all ages, from 4 months to 4 years throughout the day. I worked in the Nursery for almost 5 years. I was the Room Leader for a room of children aged 18months-3 years and the Safeguarding lead in the setting. I have A level 3 in Safeguarding, I am level 3 Qualified in Childcare, DBS checked and First Aid trained. I have been Nannying for 3 years now and i love it so much. I started with one child and also previously did the school pick up for 2 older boys.
My Qualifications
I have A level 3 in Safeguarding and A level 3 in Childcare.
