About Me
I’m an experienced, warm and reliable childcare professional with over 12 years of hands-on experience, caring for children from newborn through to 9 years old. I spent 6 years in a nursery setting, working my way up to Senior Room Lead, followed by the last 6 years as a nanny for one wonderful family. As their needs are changing from September, I am now beginning the search for a new sole charge nanny position, and I plan to remain with my current family until the end of my role in September.
Alongside my nanny role in the earlier years, I also took on temporary positions, supporting other families and gaining experience with a variety of ages, routines, and home environments.
In my nanny role, I’ve supported all aspects of family life — from planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and organising playdates, to preparing meals, managing laundry, keeping play areas organised, light cleaning, food shopping and helping with day-to-day household tasks. I’m also very comfortable around pets, with experience in dog walking, and I’m a big animal lover (a little animal mad!) with a dog and cats of my own so I’m very happy around all animals.
I truly love being out and about with children — whether that’s exploring nature , going on local outings, or setting up fun and stimulating activities at home I follow routines closely and always aim to create a calm, happy, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
I’m known within my nanny network as someone who is always happy to help, get involved, and support others. I bring a positive, energetic approach to my work and pride myself on being trustworthy, dependable, and giving my absolute best to the children and families I work with.
I’m also open to additional household duties where needed, with the understanding that this is reflected in the role and pay.
