About Me
My name is Amy and I've got three lovely and well behaved kids, a very chilled out King Charles Spaniel and two young cats. I work full time and need some extra help at home.
The children are 12 year old twins, and an 8 year old. They're all generally well behaved and independent. They travel to school by bus.
My Requirements
I need someone who is super-organised with great attention to detail, to look after the house, doing laundry, organising and daily cleaning. You will also need to collect the youngest from the school bus stop at about 3.30pm and walk them up to the house (approx 5 minutes walk) and then loosely supervise all three kids until I finish work. I work from home three days a week and the other two days I am in either London or Birmingham and get home later (usually around 6.30pm, sometimes later). You will also need to cook the kids a healthy dinner.
On days I am travelling for work, I may also need an extra hour or two in the morning.
I would also love some occasional babysitting, and the occasional overnight (which would involve taking the youngest to the bus stop the next morning) when I have to travel for work, approximately once per month.

Thea looked after my two year old for the day when we travelled to Edinburgh for my graduation. I was very worried about leaving him; he was going through a period of separation anxiety and had had a difficult time at nursery during the preceding week. He also cried about going to Thea’s house repeatedly after I introduced him to the idea a few days before he was due to go, and cried a lot on the morning itself. However, once we arrived, all my worries disappeared! Thea had set up a train set to distract him and he ran inside to play with it as soon as we arrived, and was so immediately comfortable that he was absolutely fine saying goodbye. He had a really lovely day at the Zoo with Thea and she sent me photos throughout the day. When I went to collect him in the late afternoon, he refused to leave and we had tears and a tantrum before I had to scoop him up and carry him outside. He had a wonderful day and I really recommend Thea. She is lovely, warm and welcoming, as is her home.
