About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder with an “Outstanding” rating, and have been N.N.E.B qualified for 34 years. I begun childminding in 2005, and am married to Kev with 3 grown up children who are 28, 26, and 22 years old. We live in Maghull and are close to the parks for playing, and the canal for feeding the ducks. I have a playroom designated for my childminding where lots of fun goes on, and we are out in the community each day enjoying everything that is available within our local area: i.e the library, the children’s centre, childminder’s playgroup, Cheshire lines, Lydiate farm, Marten Mere etc. We also enjoy travelling on the bus or train to the various Museums or the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool, and even the Liverpool Cathedral when activities are held especially for children. We particularly love going to the beach and big park at Crosby Marina, and also go on the bus to Southport to enjoy Hesketh park and the pier. It is my aim to provide a safe, happy, funfilled environment, whilst giving lots of cuddles too!
My Experience
I became N.N.E.B qualified in 1984 and worked as a nanny first of all for nearly 3 years. I then worked for social services in a nursery for 4 years and had my son whilst working there. Following this, I stayed at home for a year, before working mornings in a school reception class. After a year, I changed the school I worked in, and stayed working in their reception class as a nursery nurse for 16 years. Whilst there, I had my two daughters, and also worked afternoons in a nursery class for 3 years, alongside my school job. I finally registered as a childminder in 2005, and my one regret is that I should have done it much sooner. I absolutely love my job and all that it entails. I have fun and see smiley, happy faces all day, whilst enjoying encouraging and witnessing development and progress. What more could I ask for!

My Availability
I am available from 7.30am - 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday, and am also available for Green Park and John Bosco school pick ups and drop offs. I currently have one space available for school drop off - before and after school - Tuesday to Friday, but unfortunately no other places.

Well I started my son with jacky in September last year he was 27 months old. I knew from the minute I met jacky and the other children, that she was the one I was going to pick. My son was very clingy too myself I never thought I'd get him to go with anyone but within 2 weeks of going to jacky he just totally changed his ways. He absolutely loves her and the other children that she has they are like a little family!! She is professional caring and when he is with her I know I don't have to worry which is a great feeling as I am a total worrier!! She does all different activities with them keeps them busy and there minds occupied and is so caring and loving with them!! thanks so much jacky xx
