About Me
I am a 22 year old musical theatre performer, with a specialism in children’s theatre. I have an MA in Musical Theatre and a BA (Hons) in Media, Journalism and Culture from Cardiff University. I grew up between East London and Hong Kong where I developed a passion for food, travel and music. I am of Welsh and Jamaican heritage and love experiencing different cultures.
My Experience
I have over 7 years experience working with children aged 6 months - 14 years old. I regularly look after 3 siblings under 11s and have been with them for 6 years. I since the age of 14 I have worked with my mother on Single Parent holidays where i looked after children aged 2 - 14 ensuring their fun and safety. I have dyslexia and ADHD and can relate to and offer different approaches for children who struggle with similar learning difficulties. I have brief makaton experience and have worked with children who have speech delays.
I can provide excellent recent references and I am enhanced DBS checked.
