About Me

Hello!

We are a busy family of five (including our dog!), my husband works from home most of the time but occasionally has to go away for work. I work very long hours (including weekends) during term time, and consequently we sometimes need additional help when this crosses over.

Our daughter will be 7 in November and our son will turn 4 in September. Flash is the other member of our family, a gorgeous and friendly cocker spaniel who is 8 in June.
We are, (we think!), a lovely family to join and work for. Our home is busy and loving, and we try to keep it efficient and tidy! We enjoy outdoor adventures together, close to home in woodland with Flash, or far away in snowy mountains on skis. We love books, music and art, and lots of sport too including bike rides, football, climbing and swimming.

START END AUGUST/BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 2026

We require a nanny for predominantly after school on weekdays for our 2 children (4 and 7 years old in the autumn). Our daughter will be in year 2, our son in last year of nursery.
Care includes: school/nursery pick-ups, taking to clubs on a Tuesday, cooking supper for both children each day, organise school clothes and kit. Some bath and bedtimes, reading books and having fun!

We seek:
Honesty, reliability, some prior experience, happy with meal prep and some cooking, full driving license, DBS check up to date, happy to take Flash with you on walks, happy to do some extra tasks around the house (eg occasional supermarket shop), keep house clean and tidy.

Start time 3.30pm most days for pick up
(Start a little earlier for house tasks tbd)
End time approx. 6.30pm
Additional hours would be into evenings, occasional morning drop off by agreement, also Saturday morning occasional and only if possible!
15-20 hours per week

Kirsty is great!

What a great set up and lovely lady. Our daughter started with Kirsty shortly after turning 2. She has been so happy there. Kirsty is reliable, fantastic with communication, has fab toys and activities for the kids, and a really brilliant garden. Snap up a space if you can!
