About Me
I am an Ofsted-registered Childminder, rated Strong Standard across all areas, and a qualified Primary and Secondary Teacher (QTS). I work together with another registered childminder and childcare assistants to provide a warm, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where children feel safe, happy and valued.
My latest Ofsted inspection recognised the high quality of our provision, describing the curriculum as ambitious, teaching as highly engaging, and the environment as highly inclusive.
We provide a wide range of learning experiences tailored to children's individual interests, needs and stages of development. Our focus is on helping children become confident communicators, independent learners and curious explorers, while developing the skills they need for school and beyond.
Children enjoy plenty of outdoor play in our spacious, secure garden, as well as a variety of additional experiences including French, mini-athletics, and visits to our allotment.
I have two young daughters who enjoy welcoming children into our home, adding to the friendly and sociable atmosphere of the setting. Our home is smoke-free and provides a safe, welcoming and caring environment.
Most importantly, we want every child to feel happy, secure and included, develop confidence and independence, and enjoy learning through play and meaningful experiences. Ofsted described children in the setting as happy and confident, noting that they flourish and develop the knowledge and skills needed for their next stage of learning.
My Experience
With over five years of experience as a childminder and a background as a qualified teacher (QTS), I bring a strong combination of early years and educational experience to my setting. I have also worked in schools for two years, including a year in a special educational needs (SEN) school, which has given me valuable experience in supporting children with a range of individual needs.
Alongside my professional experience, being a mum has strengthened my understanding of how important it is for children to feel safe, understood and encouraged. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and engaging environment where every child can develop at their own pace and reach their potential.

I always say Simona and her team in Hogwarts are my family in this country. I moved to this country in 2021 and had my second born here in May 2023. Without any family in this country, I struggled to find anyone I could trust to look after my kid at the end of my maternity leave. Luckily I met Simona and her team and it was so amazing that I couldn't ask for more. Simona and her team are well trained with professional childcare knowledge.
Daily Routine
Simona and her team kept a regular daily routine for my daughter with plenty of fun activities to stimulate her brain and muscle development. When the weather is good, they spent time playing games and sports activities at the garden. She also helped to adjust my daughter's nap time.
Catering
I was all the time amazed by my daughter's meals at Hogwarts - they all looked so tasty and nutritious! I found it difficult to encourage my kids to take more vegetable and Simona's advices were always inspiring.
Communication
Simona always kept clear records of my little one and shared with me lots of lovely pictures of the day. At the end of the day she shared with us her observations. Simona and her team always keep us informed so I never have to worry about my little one when I am at work.
Love and Care
Last but definitely not least, the team loved my daughter wholeheartedly with lots of care, love and unlimited hugs. They are truly devoted to the well-being of my daughter and all the kids in Hogwarts. I would not hesitate to choose Hogwarts again if I am having more kid in the future.

As a first time mum to a little girl I was extremely apprehensive to leave her with anyone, let alone a stranger.
However, I needn't worry.
Simona is the absolute best and my girl loved it. The amazing variety of tasty foods, the beautiful decor and the activities are top notch.
The place is sparkling clean and my daughter was so happy to return every morning to Simona. Her bond with all the kids she has is so obvious and made me feel at ease ( as did the photos and updates through the day).
Cannot recommend enough.

We couldn't be happier. We have two children using this setting (a 2.5 year old and a 5 year old who Simona collects after school). Her home is warm and welcoming, the food is delicious, we get lots of pictures showing what our kids have been doing and eating and there is plenty of outdoor play in a very stimulating environment. Both kids have excelled here and love coming. It is a really lovely community and Simona bad been so helpful, supportive and communicative. Would highly recommend.

Simona has created an inviting and stimulating childcare setting. Our son has settled in extremely well and the progress he has made since being in Simona‘s care is evident. Simona’s environment has been well thought out and has been set up to reflect an early years setting. Our son throughly enjoys learning through play, reading, arts and crafts and the various activities that are set daily for him. Simona provides a variety of healthy foods which our son devours. Since our son has been with Simona we have felt very at ease, we highly recommend Simona.
