About Me
My name is Bethan and am currently training to be a Teacher. I am 26 years old and live in Sacriston in between Durham and Chester le street and work in the Bishop Auckland area. I am a hard working, caring individual who has spent a lot of my life around young children (looking after young family etc) and then began my career as a Teaching Assistant when I was 17 years old and have loved it ever since. I see myself as a very trustworthy and confident person within my role giving my most to all of the children who have a range of special educational needs. I am looking to help a range of families and their children in giving them the care and attention needed.
My Experience
I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for 8 years in a Special Educational Needs school supporting children with a range of needs from the ages of 3-11 years old.
Throughout these years I have took part in various training such as hydrotherapy training, emergency first aid and paediatric first aid.
I have also looked after children with Autism for respite throughout the school holidays and evenings.
My Qualifications
I have a foundation degree in supporting Teaching and a learning. I also have training in safeguarding and first aid.
My Availability
I am available evenings, weekends and school holidays.
