Hello! I'm Emma, I'm 25 years old from Harlow, Essex with a passion for working with children. I've always had a maternal/nurturing side and am friendly, fun and caring. I love bonding with children through learning and play in an encouraging and positive environment. I love finding out how best to care for a child/children and applying my skills to ensure all of their unique needs are met whilst also forming a professional and personal relationship with the parents/caregivers. I love being outdoors and being creative. I love having the freedom to take my initiative to plan fun activities for the children. My Experience
I have previously worked in nursery settings for 2 years. In this time I worked in all rooms caring for children 3month-5years but mainly the pre school and baby room. In this time I gained alot of experience and learnt new ways to help the children's development. At one time I was a key carer for 14 children,including a child with autism and was responsible for linking their development to the EYFS.
Aside from this I am an auntie to 3 nephews(including twins and a separate one with autism)and a niece. I have looked after them all regularly since their births and this has also given me so much experience.
For the past 2.5 years I have been a nanny. First to a 13 month old girl and then with a 2 and 4 year old who are now 4 and 6. I also offer babysitting and have babysat regularly over the past few years.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 childcare qualification.
I have a DBS.
I have a full driving licence and own vehicle.

We hired Emma to nanny our daughter who was 13 months at the time. We could not have been happier with our decision.
My daughter spent the majority of her life in lockdown and therefore was not used to new people.
Emma was very patient trying to bond with my daughter as well as taking on her particular requirements and soon enough they had a beautiful friendship.
I trusted and relied on Emma and still would consider her if I needed a nanny again.
