About Me
I have been childminding for over 4 years now and I provide high quality care to EYFS children (aged 1-4 years). I am based on the New Hall estate, serving the Nevison and Monkhill areas of Pontefract including providing a drop off/pick up service for children attending Orchard Head Nursery School. Unfortunately I don't currently offer wraparound care for school aged children. I love nature and the outdoors, exploring and being creative through arts, crafts and baking. I promote exploration and creativity within my setting and allow children the freedom to take learning into their own hands and to develop their own interests at their own pace.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years experience working within the Wakefield authority and schools across the Yorkshire region. My skills mostly lie within Key Stage 1, however; I have worked in several early years settings during my career so have lots of experience of working with younger children. Being a mum myself I understand the needs of young children and I offer a calm, caring and safe, yet fun environment to help every child develop and flourish.
My Qualifications
I have QTS as well as being fully qualified for the role as a childminder. I have certification of all my training required for registration on the early years registers which can be seen on request.
My Availability
I am available weekdays, from 8:00am-5:00pm for 45-46 weeks of the year.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour with a minimum of 6 hours care per day. There are additional fees for nursery pick up/drop off and meals/snacks. I do offer places for funded children.
