About Me
I am an experienced teacher, tutor and home schooling specialist based in London with a 100% pass rate in Maths and Science. I specialise in working with students who are out of mainstream education, students preparing for re-entry and for entrance examinations and for the last ten years I have helped young people navigate life successfully through primary, secondary and sixth form through mentoring, private tuition and coaching through my company Soaring Stars Education.
My Experience
I have experience with all the major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas). Within tuition, my specialities lie in Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) and GCSE. I also prepare students for the 11+ entrance exams and the year 6 SATs. I also work with schooled students (& those taking the IGCSE), students taking retakes and private candidates (students not at sixth-form/college, but still registered for courses and taking exams). My experience also includes working with children with learning difficulties and SEN-Special Educational Needs (especially Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia and Aspergers).
In 2022 I completed my Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and teach ESL, preparing students for exams such as IELTS and any English exams aligned with the CEFR which are commonly required for entry into international schools or university applications from overseas / non-English speaking countries. I also speak Spanish at CEFR A2 level.
Please be advised my advertised rate is not for 1-2-1 tuition as I currently have limited availability in that regard, and refers to the rate for some of my group classes. I have classes every day for students of different abilities, levels and subjects. Please send me a message to enquire about my timetable or to request a class.

Tobias is a fantastic tutor. We've only recently started, but he is very patient, knowledeable and resourceful. He established a good relationship with my and and he has enjoyed lesson so far. Highly reccommended.
