About Me

I am an outstanding Primary school teacher in my third year of teaching. I have taught a range of ages and children with SEN needs. I am able to cater my teaching style to meet the needs of all children. Children's education is the upmost importance that I value highly. I am extremely motivated and enthusiastic in making sure that all children receive an outstanding education. I am well organised, a fantastic time keeper and always put 100% into what I do. I believe that children need to learn in and outside the classroom and know that I am capable of implementing a robust education in both. I believe in nurturing and building a strong relationship with children in order to view them in a holistic way in order to gain an in sight into their understanding to help them fulfil their educational needs.

I have a 2:1 in childcare and youthstudies and a PGCE in Primary Education.

Amazing

Katy has been helping both my children since July 2020.
As a parent I was struggling to help with Phonics and reading, spent a fortune on learning aids with still no results.

Katy is amazing, a genuinely kind and caring person. The approach to learning is fun, rewarding and my 6 year old loves Katy, the progress made so far is outstanding.

My son was very anxious about maths and most attempts to help him ended with tears.
Katy has completely turned this around, he is confident, enjoys maths and looks forward to his session with Katy.

Katy has the ability to focus my children's attention on learning, making learning fun and giving lots of praise

I would highly recommend Katy and will be continuing our sessions into the school year
