About Me
I was born in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2003. I worked as a nursery school teacher in SA and have worked as a nanny since moving to the UK.
I have a child of my own, my little boy was born in June 2019. He is my everything :)
I moved from Surrey to Essex after my son was born and am now settled into life in Braintree. The position I am looking for is a nanny own child role - but sometimes he would stay at home with his grandma so it is quite flexible.
I am the type of nanny who loves to become part of the family.
I am currently only available on Tuesdays as I work Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri for a wonderful family with two girls who I adore.
This will all change during 2023. I will be staying with the current family I nanny for until end of August 2023 and will then be able to start with a new family from September 2023.
The reason for this is cause my son will be starting reception and I want to therefore be working closer to Braintree area.
My mom is able to help out with my son so there’s a lot of flexibility but ideally I would still like my son to be able to come with me to work on occasion(school holidays).
It has worked very well in my current job and I am sad to be leaving them but sadly it would be too tricky with my child in school in Braintree and working as far away as Bishops Stortford. I’m hoping to find a new nanny job much closer to home.
It’s all very open with my current family and they know the plans so we are going to be enjoying the first past of the year still working together while looking for what may lay ahead for September 2023.
Update :
I have now filled my full working week and am currently no longer looking for a new nanny family.

I have 25 years of childcare experience ranging from babysitting, working as a nursery school teacher and working as a full time nanny.
I'm very flexible with the families I work for, easy going and wanting a good working relationship with the parents and a good friendship with your precious little humans.
