Hi I'm Maya, a 26 year old surf instructor living in Falmouth with lots of childcare and teaching experience. I love surfing, sea swimming, pottery, walking, drawing etc! I have lots of experience teaching in school settings, surf instructing (my main job), SEN work and babysitting. I'm looking for full time childcare work from January 2026 onwards - I'll be living in Falmouth but with my own vehicle so able to travel around Cornwall.
My Experience
- Surf Instructing for the past 4 years (school groups, youth groups, SEN work, 1:1 lessons)
- Babysitting over 10yrs experience (1yo twins up to late teens)
- Supply teaching assistant in schools across Cornwall
- SEN outreach work
- Teaching internship in Shanghai (worked with Nursery up to Y11)
My Qualifications
I am First Aid trained through my RLSS Beach Lifeguard qualification.
