Hi, my name is Jenny Hepworth I live with my husband ,daughter and two sons at Stairfoot.
I do pick up’s & drop off at Oakhill primary school
I provide home based care in a fun, caring and stimulating family environment for children from Birth to 11 years.
I also accept childcare vouchers
Tax free childcare and 9months, 2,3,4 year funding
My Experience
I worked for 9 years working with children and young people in a residential home providing 24 hour care, ensuring boundaries are maintained, routines followed and helping and supporting them to reach goals/targets/ambitions.
Giving them the opportunities to try out new things by taking part in social trips and activities and encouraging them to take part and socialize with others in a home based environment
I was childminder in Sheffield for 3 years before moving to Barnsley in 2018, I’ve completed my pre-registration In Barnsley and I’m Ofsted registered.

I could not recommend anyone better! Jenny is welcoming, fun, caring and my little boy absolutely loves her!
He knocks on the door, walks in takes his shoes off and doesn’t look back.
I did swap childminders for someone closer and within 3 sessions I knew I’d made a mistake and begged Jenny to have us back and thankfully she still had space. My little boy settled back in straight away and she is so worth the extra miles! 🥰🥰🥰

Jenny is all set to look after my 5year old this summer, it has been a challenge to find someone I trust to look after her as she can have seizures. Jenny is absolutely the person I trust to care for my child. She is caring, professional and trustworthy. She has excellent knowledge of children’s needs and she is reassuring with parents. My girl can’t wait for this summer in Jenny’s gang and I know I can go to work with peace of mind - fantastic!

Motivated and fun with children. My daughter who is nearly 3 loves Jenny. Professional and caring, and does things to a high standard. Trips to the park, imagination games, picnics. I feel reassured in knowing that Jenny knows the way like to do things and follows that. Encouraging with manners, and deals with difficult or challenging behaviour in a very calm and reasurring professional way, mainly changing the focus. Jenny praises the children well too. It is a home from home lovely family environment. And you would be choosing well if you chose jenny for your child, just wish I had found her sooner.

Jenny is a professional caring and flexible childcare provider. My son felt completely at ease with Jenny and her positive and caring personality is everything I wanted for my son. Leaving him at such a young age was a worry but jenny took such good care of him. Jenny is patient enthusiastic and my son adores her! The childcare is varied, my little one went to playgroups, day trips and play centers. Jenny always puts the children's needs first and provides a safe warm and loving environment. Always flexible and willing to help out even at the last minute. Fantastic lady, fantastic service!!!
