We're looking for some help from Jan 2024:
We are a friendly family in Blackhall, Edinburgh EH4 with two great girls who are 2 and 7. Mum and Dad are both doctors and have been struggling recently to pick up on time at 6pm from our current childcare arrangements. We'd love to have a regular babysitter for pick up from after school club two days a week - but hopefully this could develop into more hours for the right person.
Both girls are very easy to get on with. The 7yr old is very creative and can usually be found recycling some cereal boxes into some creation. The 2 yr old is shy to begin with but the bubbly and chatty!
My Requirements
We're looking for a flexible occasional babysitter/nanny. We both work complex shifts and need cover between 5-7pm different nights each week.
The particular days are planned in advance each month and we may have extra weekend/evening baby sitting work for the right person. Both kids are used to a regular childminder in the week, and we've had a regular babysitter recently that is unfortunately moving abroad.
We can offer at least 2 days per week 5pm to 7pm. It's likely that we'll have more hours later in the year as well. There could be the occasional full day on a Friday if you wanted.
Ideally we'd like someone with childcare experience, an up to date first aid certificate and either DBS or PVG check.
