About Me
Hello, I’m Louisa!
I’m 26 years old and have always had a genuine passion for working with children. I love creating a fun, caring and stimulating environment where children feel happy, confident and encouraged to learn through play and everyday experiences.
I started babysitting for family friends from the age of 14, and at 16 I gained further experience working in a nursery. I then went on to college, where I completed my Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Childcare.
I started my first nanny position in September 2021, caring for two children under the age of four. My role involved everything from preparing healthy meals and batch cooking to organising fun and engaging activities, school/nursery runs and days out. I particularly enjoy arts and crafts, messy play, baking and getting out and about to local parks, soft plays and other child-friendly activities.
Since September 2022, I have been working for a lovely family with three children in the Surbiton area, where I have continued to build on my experience and become a trusted and valued part of the family.
I am currently on maternity leave after welcoming my own little girl, and I am now looking ahead to returning to nannying April/May 2027. Becoming a mum myself has been such a special experience and I’m really looking forward to getting back into a role where I can continue doing something I genuinely love.
I am ideally looking for a position for 2–3 full days per week. I’m keeping an open mind about future opportunities as I plan my return to work (April/May 2027) and would be happy to hear from families looking for an experienced, caring and enthusiastic nanny.
My Experience
I have previously worked as a student in a nursery whilst I was completing my level 2 Cache Qualification. I was able to gain the experience of working within all ages varying for 6 months old to 4 years old. I worked in a nursery as a nursery practitioner where I also gained my level 3 qualification which now makes me a qualified member of staff.

Louisa has been our family nanny for the past two years, looking after our children aged 6, 4 and 10 months when she started! Before that, she was the key worker for both of our boys at their private nursery, and in between, she was a nanny for a family in Wimbledon. She is the most wonderful nanny - loving, attentive, adventurous and creative. She grew up locally and has so many ideas of what to do with the kids, but is equally brilliant at creative activities at home (much more creative than me!) She also cooks for the children (again, better than me!) and takes our daughter to lots of activities and toddler groups in the area and knows other nannies that they socialise with.
Our youngest is starting preschool in January and so she is staying with us 2 days a week but looking for another part-time family.
