About Me
I am a proud mother of 2 grown up children and have 40 years of childcare experience. After completing my NNEB I worked as a sole charge Nanny caring for children from newborn up to age 11 before going on to bring up my own family. When my daughter was 5 I started part time work as a cover teacher at a local primary school where I worked for 22 years. Whilst employed I completed extensive training to enhance my already well rounded skill set. I consider myself to be caring, patient and enthusiastic with an adaptable and nurturing approach to childcare and education.
My Experience
After completing secondary education where I obtained 7 0 levels I went on to Richmond college where I completed my NNEB and additional qualifications in English and Sociology. I then worked as a sole charge nanny for 3 years before starting a family. In 1998 I returned part time to work as a cover teacher where I worked for 22 years. In this role I covered and taught classes of 30 pupils from YR- Y6 teaching across the curriculum. To name a few I have successfully completed courses in phonics, autism, challenging behaviour, safeguarding and recognition of radical behaviours. Through my 22 years of working in a local primary school I am well versed in teaching children with a range of challenging behaviours and varying abilities. To add to my experience I have been working for the past 4 and a half years for a lovely family with 2 children now aged 7 and 9.
My Qualifications
After completing 0 levels I attended Richmond college where I completed my NNEB, HLTA status was achieved in 2000. Varying courses in educating children have been successfully completed since starting at my current employment.

Our nanny Lynn, has been with our family for 4.5 years and has been an exceptional carer to our two sons. During her time with us, the boys have thrived under her attentive and nurturing care. She is warm, reliable and deeply invested in her role, always doing her very best. We have always felt completely secure and confident in her, trusting her implicitly with our children and our home. In addition to childcare, she has been a wonderful support with family life, preparing delicious meals and helping with washing and light household tasks. We are very sad to see her leave due to a change in our family’s needs and would wholeheartedly recommend her to another family.
