About Me
Heya I'm Keeley and im 36 years old.
I live in broughton Astley with my son who has just started school this september.
I've always loved working with children and I have had experience in a number of childcare settings covering a range of ages (nursery, playschool, reception class and a nanny).
I have been a nanny for 2 family's, covered before and after school care for a family and worked in a nursery over the last 11years.
I love doing all sorts of activities, all different messy play, baking, gardening, being outdoors, exploring, reading, role play.
Up until recently I worked in a nursery but i am looking for something new to fit around my sons school hours.
I am very family orientated and believe in providing a nurturing environment for children, knowing how difficult it can be for children to settle with somebody out of their family.
I can also provide housework and im comfortable around pets.
My Experience
I have had experience with a wide variety of age groups and childcare settings. During my course i took part in placement in a nursery, a playgroup and a school, I worked in a nursery for 7 years, was a nanny for 8yrs, covered before and after school for a family and worked in another nursery. I worked in the babyroom for 2 years and i was a senior nursery nurse and room leader of the 18months to 30months age group, which included a lot more responsibilities. During my time as a nanny I looked after children ranging from 6months-6yrs, even travelling on holiday with them and becoming a part of the family.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE's, 1 C,2 B's and 7 A's. I also have a BTEC National Diploma in Early Years and I have First Aid training.
Safeguarding training.
Full driving license.
