About Me
Looking for SEN Tutor (Maths & English) – Year 1
Hi, I’m a mum to a lovely 5-year-old boy who has special learning needs. He’s currently in Year 1 and finds Maths and English challenging, especially maintaining interest and focus. We are looking for a patient and understanding tutor who has experience working with children with SEN, such as ADHD or ASD.
What we’re hoping for:
- Someone who can make learning fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting
- Experience with SEN approaches, visual learning, and breaking tasks into small steps
- A calm, encouraging teaching style
Availability:
- Weekends only (flexible on times)
Location:
- Happy to travel to your home (we are based in CO7 postcode in the weekends)
- Home visit to ours also an option, although my son can get distracted quite easily at home
