September 2026 start - 4 days a week school pickup through evening routine and bedtime

This is a Monday-Thursday role, typically starting between 3:15pm and 4:30pm depending on after-school activities, through to evening routine and bedtime. Supper club can provide some flexibility on start time if necessary.

Responsibilities include school and nursery pickups, taking the children to after-school activities, engaging them in play and reading, supporting with dinner and bedtime, and providing simple meals/snacks (we have a chef for main meal prep). We are looking for someone who will take initiative with the children’s routines—organising school bags, uniforms and the next day—and help keep things tidy in the evenings. There is also some light household support including family laundry and general tidying (we have a cleaner). The focus is on providing a happy, calm and engaging environment for the children. We are looking for someone experienced, reliable and energetic, who enjoys working with multiple ages and takes a proactive approach. Previous childcare experience and strong references essential; fluent English required; first aid preferred. Occasional babysitting available by agreement and potential for optional travel. Based within 10 minutes of New Cross, Nunhead and Brockley stations. Driving not required.
