About Me
My name is Caroline, and I’ve dedicated my life to working with children since completing my CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2001. With 23 years of experience across various age groups, childcare has always been my passion and something I truly enjoy.
I’m also a proud mum to four boys who are now at school. They love spending time with other children, which makes my role as a childminder even more rewarding. I provide a warm, home-from-home experience filled with fun, care, and creativity. I treat the children in my care as I do my own—through everyday activities, exciting adventures, and exploring the world together.
Being a childminder allows me to balance my family life with the job I love. My background in day nurseries, nannying, and pre-schools has given me a wealth of knowledge and the ability to use a wide variety of resources to enrich each child’s learning and development.
In my setting, children have access to a wide range of toys and activities tailored to all ages. From free play to planned activities, I also incorporate the great outdoors—whether it’s exploring the woods, visiting the local nature reserve, or joining group activities for social interaction. Messy play is a favorite of mine, and I believe it’s a fantastic way for children to learn and express themselves while having fun!
I value spontaneity, letting the children’s interests guide our daily plans, while also maintaining some structured routines to meet their needs. My aim is to ensure every child in my care feels safe, stimulated, and loved, all while meeting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.

I would like to work term time only but I know this is not always possible so I am flexible on this depending on how many days. Otherwise Mon-Thurs 8-5.30
I also do school runs for Little Elves Pre-School and Elvetham Heath Primary School.

My daughter has been with Caroline and her boys since the beginning of the year and she absolutely loves being there and most days does not want to leave. Caroline’s is like a second home and second family for my daughter and the care she receives is outstanding. When we met Caroline with her husband and children we knew they were the right fit for us and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. I would highly recommend Caroline.

Caroline was our family Nanny looking after our 3 children aged from 6-months, 3 years and 5 years.
During the time Caroline was Nannying for us she devoted nothing but her time, protection and attention to our children and continually showed genuine love and care to them and her role too.
As a parent we always worry about what our children are doing and question ourselves if have we left them with the right people/person, are they safe, are they happy and are they being looked after how we would look after them as parents.... I/we never had to worry or ask ourselves these questions when our children were in Caroline's care. They were constantly being occupied, having so much fun and creating the best memories, and Caroline would treat our children and others like her own.
Our children were always so happy to be with Caroline, and they built such wonderful relationships with her children too.
Caroline's passion for childcare and genuine care and protection for children shines through.
We cannot highly recommend Caroline's childminding services enough.

By far the best childminder around, I have my 2 sons with Caroline, one full time 2 year old and one after school 5 year old.
Caroline clearly does this for her genuine love of children and their development which is very rare to find. Her years of experience and past work really do shine through.
From day 1 Caroline and her lovely family made my boys feel at home and safe. The children absolutely love being there and this makes life as a working parent so so so much easier, being able to drop your children off and not have to worry is great.
Caroline always puts the children first, they do tonnes of hands on activities, creative and messy play. I receive amazing updates and pictures. Caroline’s setting including garden is perfectly set up for the children’s needs and safety.
I honestly cannot recommend Caroline enough, if you want a genuinely lovely person who your children will love to be with you’ve found her.....
