About Me
My name is Caroline, and I’ve dedicated my life to working with children since completing my CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education in 2001. With 23 years of experience across various age groups, childcare has always been my passion and something I truly enjoy.
I’m also a proud mum to four boys who are now at school. They love spending time with other children, which makes my role as a childminder even more rewarding. I provide a warm, home-from-home experience filled with fun, care, and creativity. I treat the children in my care as I do my own—through everyday activities, exciting adventures, and exploring the world together.
Being a childminder allows me to balance my family life with the job I love. My background in day nurseries, nannying, and pre-schools has given me a wealth of knowledge and the ability to use a wide variety of resources to enrich each child’s learning and development.
In my setting, children have access to a wide range of toys and activities tailored to all ages. From free play to planned activities, I also incorporate the great outdoors—whether it’s exploring the woods, visiting the local nature reserve, or joining group activities for social interaction. Messy play is a favorite of mine, and I believe it’s a fantastic way for children to learn and express themselves while having fun!
I value spontaneity, letting the children’s interests guide our daily plans, while also maintaining some structured routines to meet their needs. My aim is to ensure every child in my care feels safe, stimulated, and loved, all while meeting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements.

We were very fortunate to find Caroline to look after our twin girls, and it’s has been over 3+ wonderful years now.
Caroline and her family have become an integral part of the girls lives, and they constantly provide a loving, caring and true “home from home” that the girls look forward to.
Caroline has been fantastic and her constant involvement in both teaching and nurturing the girls and providing the right development input over the years and at the required development stages has been valuable.
Caroline’s enthusiasm, energy and caring nature is evident and is reflected when seeing how happy and close all the kids in her care have and do become and we are proud that our girls could be a part of this.
Caroline will be truely missed when the girls move on to their next adventure and we are very greatful for everything over the years.

My son has been with Caroline for over 2 years now and he absolutely adores her. When I drop him off with her in the morning I know that he is going to be completely safe, cared for, played with and developed. Caroline is incredibly reliable, excellent at communication and provides the most lovely photos of what he gets up to when he is in her care. Caroline goes above and beyond to ensure that the children in her care are happy, and she also provides detailed explanations of activities and learning opportunities she has been through with the children each week. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found her and simply can't recommend her enough.

We are so pleased to have found Caroline as our childcare. Entrusting someone with your children is one of the toughest decisions and we know we made the right one. Caroline cares for our children almost as if they were her own. She is professional, caring and enthusiastic and both our children (1&5) love being in her care. When they started a few months ago, she made every effort to learn about their likes, needs and interests and this formed a solid transition for them. Communication is good and we enjoy receiving updates about what learning themes and activities will be taking place and the lovely photographs that come after. Caroline's setting always seems to have a calm atmosphere and the children seem to get a balance of different activities within and outside of the home. She has formed good relationships with our children and has fostered this between the different children, too - she knows them all very well. Caroline listens to any updates, preferences etc. I may have regarding my children and I respect and trust all decisions she makes around their care and development.
