After-School Childcare Needed for 8-Year-Old Daughter
About Me
We are a friendly, family-oriented household looking for someone kind, caring and reliable to help with our daughter after school.
We value trust, good communication and a warm, respectful relationship with anyone who becomes part of our childcare routine. We are easy-going and appreciate someone who is dependable and takes pride in providing good care.
Our daughter is 8 years old and is a happy, sociable and independent child who enjoys having someone she can chat to, spend time with and feel comfortable around. She currently has a broken arm, so she needs a little extra support while she recovers, but this is only temporary.
We are hoping to find someone who will become a familiar and trusted part of our routine and, most importantly, someone who genuinely enjoys being around children.
My Requirements
School drop off and After-School Pick-Up & Childcare Needed
We are looking for a lovely, kind and reliable person to help with after-school pick-ups for our 8-year-old daughter.
The main part of the role would be dropping her off and collecting her from school and bringing her home, with some care and company after school until we are home. We are hoping to find someone friendly, trustworthy and patient who enjoys spending time with children and would become a familiar and reassuring person in her routine.
At the moment, she has a broken arm, so she needs a little extra help and support while it heals. This is temporary, and she is otherwise a happy, bright and independent 8-year-old. We would ideally like someone who is comfortable giving her a helping hand with things she may find more difficult at the moment, while still encouraging her independence.
We are ideally looking for someone who is dependable and looking for an ongoing arrangement, with additional school drop offs rather than just occasional babysitting. Experience with children around her age would be a bonus.
We may need some additional help next week due to our daughter’s temporary broken elbow, as she may not be able to attend school during the week commencing 7th September.
For next week, we may need help on Monday from 1pm–6pm and Thursday from around 1pm–4pm, depending on whether she is able to return to school.
From Monday 14th September, we are hoping to establish a regular after-school arrangement. This would involve school drop-offs Monday to Friday (except Wednesdays) and school pick-ups on Mondays and Fridays.
We are looking for someone reliable, caring and flexible who can hopefully become a regular part of our routine.
If you think you might be a good fit, please get in touch with a little information about yourself, your experience and your availability. We’d love to have a chat and see if it could work well for everyone.
