About Me
I am a PhD student at the University of Liverpool. Previously, I studied at the University of Edinburgh obtaining a BSc and an MSc in Biomedical Science.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy hand crafting, reading, horse riding, swimming and hiking. I also enjoy cooking and baking, I have worked in a brasserie and can prepare both hot and cold meals / snacks.
I am looking to work as a babysitter as I really enjoy working with children & feel it will fit in well with my studies. In the past I have babysat for a range of families, looking after children aged 4-12.

My Experience
I have worked with kids while a member of my local Girls’ Brigade unit at home in West Lothian. As well as at school where I was head girl & tutored junior classes. I have done some baby sitting for family friends in the past.
As a trained lifeguard, I was first aid trained & hold a PVG.
I have been doing after school baby sitting for a family with two children, an 11 and 8 year old, since 2020 & this has been very enjoyable. I have done some ad-hoc babysitting for a range of families covering an age range of 4-12. I am happy with animals, so do not mind also helping with any pet chores. I can help with home work & make dinners as well as anything else you may find helpful.
My Qualifications
Through school I achieved A’s in National 5’s, Highers and Advanced Highers.
I have a BSc in Biomedical Science & a MSc in Reproductive Sciences from the University of Edinburgh.
I am now studying a PhD in women’s health looking at the biology of uterine fibroids.
Before the pandemic I was a qualified lifeguard, so have first aid qualifications and have a clean DBS checked.
I have many volunteering awards as well as my DofE - bronze & silver.
My Availability
My studies are mostly laboratory based on a 9-5 schedule but there is some level of flexibility in this, allowing for school pick up etc.
I am fully flexible at weekends and evenings.
