My Summary

My Experience

I have worked with kids while a member of my local Girls’ Brigade unit at home in Scotland. As well as at school where I was head girl & tutored junior classes. I have done lots of baby sitting for family friends in the past.

As a trained lifeguard, I was first aid trained & hold a PVG/DBS.

I have been doing after school baby sitting for a family with two children, an 11 and 8 year old, since 2020 & this has been very enjoyable. I have done some ad-hoc babysitting for a range of families covering an age range of 1-12. I am happy with animals, so do not mind also helping with any pet chores. I can help with home work & make dinners as well as anything else you may find helpful.

My Qualifications

Through school I achieved A’s in National 5’s, Highers and Advanced Highers.
I have a BSc in Biomedical Science & a MSc in Reproductive Sciences from the University of Edinburgh.
I am now studying a PhD in women’s health looking at the biology of uterine fibroids.
Before the pandemic I was a qualified lifeguard, so have first aid qualifications and have a clean DBS checked.
I have many volunteering awards as well as my DofE - bronze & silver.

My Availability

My studies are mostly laboratory based on a 9-5 schedule but there is some level of flexibility in this, allowing for school drop-off/ pick up etc.

I am fully flexible at weekends and evenings.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My basic rate is £15/hr.
There is a level of flexibility to this depending on you & your families needs.
