My Summary
About Me
I have been working in the childcare industry for 7 and a half years. I have Level 3 childcare qualification/diplomas, as well as my first aid and DBS. I worked full time in a nursery and then decided to leave and become a nanny.
I’m looking for full time (4 or 5 days) and happy to also do regular babysitting. Looking for 40-50 hours a week minimum.
My Experience
I worked in a nursery for just over 3 years ( September 2016 - October 2019) while I was there I become a behaviour manager and then promoted to a senior member of staff. I learnt the EYFS very well, and made good bonds with the children. While being at the nursery I gained many qualifications and completed many courses which I can elaborate on if needed.
I then became a nanny in October 2019 working for 2 families.
The first family (20 hours a week) - sole care of 3 boys (3 years old, and twins of 20 months) the day would include taking the boys out to classes, cooking them fresh meals, bath time and bed time.
The second family - sole charge of 6 month old twins - taking them out, cooking their meals, nap times, play time and just making sure their overall well-being was maintained ( I still babysit for them regularly).
After this, I started working for a family of 2 girls 2020-2022 was with them for 2 and a half years and when I left agreed to babysit them once a week to maintain the bond we have and give mum and dad a date night.
Along with this role, when I’d collect the oldest one I’d also collect another little boy from her school and have 3 of them from school pick-up onwards, 3 afternoons a week.
My current job - I started September 2022 and still with the family now (3 girls) I work 8-6 Monday to Friday and my role includes preparing and making breakfast, lunch and dinner, taking the girls to nursery/ school and afterschool clubs and groups. Making sure they are thriving in their day to day lives and their overall well being. I am exploring new options so happy to have a chat with potential new roles.
My Qualifications
Cache level 3 childcare diploma - working with children and young people aged 0-18 years old.
Cache Level 2 qualified as well
First aid qualified
DBS qualified
Food and hygiene
Behaviour manager qualifications
My Availability
I am available everyday Monday-Friday and can do babysitting too
I can also do over night stays.
I’m looking for 40 hours a week minimum, but am happy to also negotiate.
