About Me
Having two young daughters of my own that are very close in age I want to be able to provide the kind of childminding setting that I would have wanted to have if I had returned to my previous career. This includes available before and after office hours (7.30 am until 5.30pm), being flexible and also fitting in with my own families requirements and needs. I want to provide a home from home friendly, caring, learning environment that is safe, secure and affordable. I will cover the area for drop off and pick up to Carr Lane School. I will provide breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack and dinner should each child require. Drinking water will be available throughout the day with an optional drink of milk/juice at snack or meal times. My childminding services will run all year including school holidays. I will provide significant advance warning of my own holidays and help with sourcing other child care should the families I work with require me to do so. My hourly rate will start from £5 per hour dependant on requirement, to be discussed.
My Experience
Two young children of my own (11 months apart). My own upbringing was in a very teacher environment as both my parents were teachers and my mum's final 15 years of her career was based in an Early Years setting, which has very much influenced my own approach to parenting and the service in which I provide.
My Qualifications
Ofsted Registered. Paediatric First Aid Training. Becoming a childminder training. Safeguarding training. Teaching assistant diploma certificate level 2. Teaching phonics certificate level 2.

I can honestly say that Amy is everything i have ever wanted in a childminder. I returned to work when my daughter was nearly 10 months old. After 2.5 months, my daughter is a whole new person! She has come on so much in both mental and physical aspects, and I can honestly say this is down to Amy, and all the little friends Alyla has made there.
We get to Amy’s front door in a morning and my daughter is fighting to get out of my arms to start playing with her friends. Amy made the process of leaving my child so easy, and she cannot do enough for us. Forever grateful 🤍
