About Me
I am a qualified and experienced maternity nurse offering support to a family with their baby.
My services include establishing a good feeding and sleeping routine for baby, day time naps and night sleep pattern , all personal care, feeds 24/hr, bathing, interaction with baby during wake periods, care of nursery, baby clothing, all sterilisation equipment. I am trustworthy and reliable and have a calm nature which babies respond to. My approach is gentle and I love working with a baby and their family. Tummy time is introduced as early as 2 weeks with stimulation and playtime appropriate to baby’s developmental age. I also offer a night nanny service.
I can offer advice on breastfeeding and sleep training and the practical application of these. I look after mum and baby when they are discharged from hospital, ensuring that a mum gets enough rest to recover and enjoy motherhood. My own family are important to me and spending time with them. I am Nana to 2 grandchildren who are 5 and 3 years old.
My Experience
Several years ago I made a career change which I have found both fulfilling and exciting as I work alongside a Family providing care to their baby. By establishing a good feeding and sleeping routine, this is both beneficial to baby and parents. I love the work I do, which you will see from my references. I qualified at Maternity nurse Level 3 with 4 credits through OCN London and Sleep Training Level 3 With 3 credits. I am always discreet and considerate when I work in a home , I am competent to work with twins or single babies and have cared for among others a premature baby and babies with reflux . It is a real privilege to do this work. I am reliable, trustworthy and patient, I bring a calmness to a baby and reassurance to the family whose baby I am caring for. I have raised my own two children who are now adults and am a Nana to my first granddaughter who is 5 years old and my grandson is 3 years old.

- Maternity Nursing from £20.00 per hour (gross)
