My name is Eilidh. I am 22 years old. I currently work as a Pupil Support Assistant at Roseburn Primary School. I work on a 1-1 basis, supporting children with additional support needs.
My Experience
My journey in childcare started 4/5 years ago. I began as a Playworker in a Breakfast and After School Club and also during the school holidays in the Holiday Club. As a playworker I worked with all children from P1 to P7. My duties included, snack preparation, general cleaning, medication administration, recording documents and catering activities to suit the wide variety of ages. As a Holiday Club Playworker, I would take the children on various outings, therefore I have a great knowledge of Edinburgh and the opportunities for children. I currently work as a Pupil Support Assistant supporting various children with complex needs. I have experience working with Autism, Downs Syndrome and CTNNB1 Syndrome. I work in the early years department assisting the Primary 2 class. I was previously in the Nursery and Primary 1 class so have plenty experience working with children ages 3-7.
My Qualifications
Completed various training programmes including Child Protection and First Aid.
