Nanny Housekeeper
We are looking for a warm, organised and energetic nanny housekeeper to join our family and provide a combination of childcare and household support.

The role will begin while the children are at school, with responsibilities including:
• Laundry and general washing
• Meal preparation and preparing the family evening meal
• Light household duties and general tidying
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and playroom organised

The afternoon will involve collecting one of the children from school. The school run will alternate between the children: one attends a local school, while the other is approximately a 40-minute drive away. The nanny will only be required to collect one child each day, not both.

Following the school run, the nanny will spend time with the children, playing and engaging with them, as well as supporting reading, homework and spellings when required. We are looking for someone who can make learning fun and engaging and bring creativity and enthusiasm to the children’s activities.

An understanding of, and experience working with, neurodivergent children would be highly desirable. We are looking for someone patient, nurturing and adaptable, who can understand and respond to each child’s individual needs and help them thrive.
The day will finish with preparing and serving the family evening meal.

Days and hours can be flexible for the right person, and we are happy to discuss a schedule that works well for both the family and the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, warm and confident with children, with good organisational skills and a genuine enjoyment of both childcare and household duties. A full driving license and confidence driving children are essential.
