Nanny in Sandhurst (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
About Me
My name is Bianca, I’m 30, Brazilian-Italian, a former nanny, and mother to a 15-month-old daughter. I am seeking a nanny position with a family that would allow me to share care between my own child and their child/children. I believe this arrangement would be beneficial not only for the family but also for my daughter, as research suggests that having siblings or peers to interact with can significantly support social and emotional development. I am currently working two days a week as a civil enforcement officer, but I am looking to increase my hours while maintaining quality time with my daughter.
I believe every child is unique, and it is the responsibility of caregivers to observe, understand, and respect each child’s individuality. This philosophy guides my approach to both professional and personal childcare, ensuring children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow.
My Experience
I have almost two years of experience as a nanny in London, caring for children aged 1 to 11 years old, including twins and groups of two or three children simultaneously. I was responsible for supervising and engaging the children in play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and supporting their daily routines. My duties included helping with homework, reading, preparing simple meals, bathing, and managing bedtime. I also took children to and from activities, arranged playdates, and handled light housekeeping and children’s laundry. During my time as a nanny, I successfully potty trained three children and gently helped one child transition away from using a pacifier. My focus has always been on nurturing, educating, and providing a loving and structured environment. Prior to nannying, I gained experience as a cleaner, which strengthened my attention to organization and hygiene.
In addition I have 15 months of hands-on experience as a mother, raising my child without a support network or nearby family, aside from my partner. Together, we gently trained our daughter to sleep through the night from three months old, and she continues to do so.
I have successfully maintained a zero screen-time approach, focusing on active engagement and development. I exclusively breastfed my baby for the first six months, and later transitioned to a combination of breast milk and formula after exploring all options to increase milk supply when it became insufficient. Through my own experience, I have been able to support and guide other mothers with breastfeeding and weaning by sharing and exchanging practical knowledge and personal experience.
