About Me
I am a mum to two boys.
I have wanted to work with children and become a childminder for a number of years but due to the lack of space at our previous home this was not possible. After moving to a much larger house in Desford and re training during my maternity leave it finally become possible.
I live with my husband of over 10 years our two boys and our JRT.
We have a fully equipped play room, large lounge and kitchen all of which will be used daily with various activities. We also have a large garden including play house and vegetable patch where the children learn about the planting, growing and picking of food before assisting with the preparation and cooking.
My Experience
My setting is new with fresh ideas. I have spent a lot of time learning the EYFS framework and am enthusiastic and excited about spending time with children to develop them both mentally and physically.
I have been in touch with the local library which we will visit weekly.
We will spend time learning about the world in which we live through trips and books.
Children are cared for in a loving and nurturing environment.

Kerry has been looking after my daughter since she was 11 months old. She settled immediately in her care and has flourished.
Knowing my little girl is in such kind, patient and capable hands has enabled me to confidently go back to work, safe in the knowledge that she is happy and content. Kerry provides a clean, safe environment and offers healthy home cooked meals that my daughter loves. The activities they do together are engaging and educational. We were very lucky to find such an amazing childminder.
