I have 3.5 years of experience working with children and young people, as well as regular babysitting for friends’ families. I genuinely adore kids and love creating a fun, safe and supportive environment for them to grow and enjoy themselves.
I’m qualified to Level 2 in Youth Work, hold a D*D*D* in Health and Social Care, and have a Certificate of Higher Education in Social Welfare Studies. I’ve also completed a wide range of CPD including understanding autism, vulnerability and exploitation, food hygiene, and more. I have strong experience supporting children and young people with varying needs, including SEND.

My Experience
Over the past 3.5 years, I’ve worked directly with children and young people in a hands-on support role, helping them with everything from daily routines to personal development and social skills. My work has involved supervising groups, offering one-to-one support, and adapting my approach for children with a wide range of needs, including SEND and additional vulnerabilities.
I regularly design and deliver structured sessions, putting together activities that encourage creativity, communication, and confidence. This has given me experience managing behaviour positively, keeping children engaged, and creating a calm and safe atmosphere.
Alongside my professional experience, I’ve also spent several years babysitting for friends and their families, caring for younger children, supporting with bedtime routines, and keeping them entertained through play, crafts, and age-appropriate activities.
Through my ongoing training, including CPD in autism, exploitation and vulnerability, safeguarding, and food hygiene, I’ve gained strong practical knowledge that helps me support each child as an individual.
