About Me
I am offering weekend and evening babysitting services and tutoring for students particularly in English, French, Reading and Maths - with potential for other subjects as well.
My Experience
I have experience working with a wide range of ages from newborn to 17 years old. In my free time I am a Guide Leader, and for my full time work, I am a class teacher in a primary school.
Previously I have worked in a variety of roles such as a nanny in Paris, children's ranger in Lapland and English teacher in India, as well as many baby sitting roles in the UK.
I currently work with G&T, SEN and EAL children so am able to adapt easily to the needs of every child. Also happy to try virtual or socially distant work.
My Qualifications
I have undertaken First Aid courses, suitable for children, and Safeguarding courses.
My Availability
During school holidays, I will have extra hours available.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour

This lady is an absolute god send!
I’ve never left my daughter with anyone as I’m the typical over protective single mother 😂.
I even cried when I handed her over and left my daughter with her.
I received pictures and texts! Ruby had been fed, changed etc and played with Mel! I walked through the door and my little girl was fast asleep in Mels arms which nearly made me cry again! She is professional, reliable and I honestly wouldn’t have anyone else look after my girl! I had 3 hours to myself with friends for the first time in years and it was just what I needed! Can’t recommend this lady enough! Thank you!!!! Amazing lady xxx

Mel came with us to Alton Towers to help with my 2.5yr old son who has ASD and she was honestly absolutely amazing with him! He instantly took to her. She was enthusiastic and energetic which was great for my son. I was instantly out at ease with her and she made the whole day run so smoothly. I would highly recommend her to anyone and we will certainly be calling her again for our next trip 😊

We travelled up for the weekend to visit family and Mel was really good with my 6 yr old daughter my daughter gets very anxious but Mel managed to keep her calm.
I highly recommend her and il definitely be using her again for any child care I need when I’m in the area visiting family.
