Part Time Nanny Job in London Borough Of Bromley
About Me
We’re a busy, friendly family of four living in Hayes, with two energetic boys aged 9 and 4. Our eldest is a happy, creative boy who loves Lego, music, drawing and anything with wheels, while our youngest is a cheeky, fun-loving character who enjoys Lego, superheroes and puzzles. Our eldest is neurodivergent with developmental language delay, so we really value patience, understanding and a positive approach to neurodiversity.
Family life is busy but relaxed, and we’re looking for someone warm, caring and dependable who will genuinely enjoy spending time with the boys and become a trusted part of our family. We’re hoping to find someone who can support us with the after-school routine while creating a fun, happy environment for the boys.
My Requirements
We're a busy family of 4 with 2 energetic boys (9 and 4) looking for a lovely part-time nanny to help with family life, starting as soon as possible from September.
We are primarily looking for help with school pick ups and after-school care from Hayes Primary, for approximately 14-16 hours per week, Tuesday-Friday, during term time. However, we're flexible and would be happy to discuss a few more hours per week, a year round contract or the possibility of bringing your own child with you. There may also be opportunities for additional babysitting.
We live in Hayes, within walking distance from school.
About The Boys:
Our eldest is 9 and about to start Year 4. He's a lovely, happy boy who loves Lego, music, drawing and anything with wheels.
Our youngest is 4 and about to start in Reception. He's a cheeky, fun-loving character who loves Lego, superheroes, puzzles and games.
Our eldest is neurodivergent with a developmental language delay so some experience of SEN/neurodiversity would be a real bonus. Above all, we're looking for someone patient, caring and enthusiastic who will enjoy spending time with both boys.
The role:
Duties will include school pick up, preparing and serving snacks and dinner, homework/reading, engaging/playing with the boys, getting them ready for bed, occasionally supervising a play date or taking/collecting them from an activity/club.
Our current childminder has recently been offered an external role and is therefore no longer able to provide after-school care. She has been wonderful with our family and is very happy to share her experience of working with us as a reference.
If you think you might be a good fit for our family, we'd love to hear from you. Please get in touch to have a chat and find out more.
