About Me
I am 27 years old. I have completed my Level 3 childcare qualification, a degree in early childhood and have achieved qualified teaching status. I am a primary school teacher however due to summer holidays have availability to look after children through the 6 weeks holiday.
I have spent the last 5 years teaching Reception (eyfs) with a passion for supporting children’s learning and development. I love planning fun, creative and engaging activities that are suited to each child’s age and interests. I particularly enjoy helping children develop their confidence, independence and social skills through play and meaningful activities. I aim to create a safe, caring and positive environment where children can have fun, feel comfortable and thrive.
Depending on the days needed my availability can be flexible.
I also have experience in baby sitting and looking after children of all ages including school/ nursery pick ups and drop offs. I also have an up to date DBS check.
My Experience
I have completed my full level 3 childcare qualification. Before attending university I worked in a nursery for a period of a year working in the toddler room with children aged 2-3 years old. I also gained experience working with children of 3 months- 2 years and children of pre-school age. I completed placements in primary schools with children of varying ages and now I am a primary school teacher.
I have a full DBS check.
