About Me
Hi! My name is Shona. I'm 29 and I'm an OFSTED registered nanny and recently trained secondary school teacher. I've enjoyed a wide range of work with children, from babies all the way up to big ones!
I have experience in nannying, babysitting and tutoring (from primary up to A-level), as well as specific expertise working with multilingual kids and those learning English as an additional language. I have also spent time working in the field of equality, diversity end Inclusion in education, which is something I'm very passionate about! I'm grateful to have extesive exlerience working with children who have additional needs and neurodivergence and those from BAME and immigrant communities, as well as lgbtq+ families and kids.
Outside of work, I love to make music, do crafts, bake, cook and play board games. I also enjoy being in the outdoors and exploring! I have a degree in modern languages (majoring in Spanish and Portuguese) from the University of Sheffield, where I went on to do my PGCE teacher training.
