About Me

Hi, my name is Julie, and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Helsby, Cheshire. I am highly qualified Early Years practitioner with 10 years experience. I have two children of my own, one at University and one at High School. I like to go for walks, bake and do a little gardening in my spare time. I enjoyi listening to music and reading good psychological/crime books.

I've worked in a busy pre-school in Frodsham gaining all my qualifications and experiences. I recently set up my own childminding/babysitting business in January 2021. I had my Ofsted inspection Nov 2021 with a grading of "Good"

"The childminder is friendly and welcoming. Children form secure attachments with
her and continuously demonstrate that they feel safe, happy and secure in her
home. The childminder is warm and caring in her approach and has high
expectations of young children. Children explore the environment with increasing
confidence, having the reassurance that the childminder is close by. They
independently select the resources they wish to use and are developing their
concentration skills."

I provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating home from home environment where your child will be well loved and cared for.
I will encourage and support your child's learning through purposefully planned activities following their individual interests and developmental needs.
I value each child as an individual and aim to develop a love of learning.
I will build, in each child, their confidence, independence and resilience in preparation for future learning and have fun along the way.
I follow and implement the EYFS and support your child to reach their full potential.

I do like to get out and about with the children as much as possible. We go to the local park and others in Cheshire. Different toddler groups each week, Helsby Quarry, local walks, visits to the library and local shops. Trips to the zoo and Walton Hall Gardens and lots of other places of interest.
