My Experience

I have worked within childcare for 18 years and now have my own children aged 2 and 4.

I have experience of working with childcare settings; private nurseries which I was the manager for various sites. Several years services for social care- I worked with vulnerable young people. Most recently I am working with a school setting.

Most importantly of all, is Laura’s passion for the experience the children receive. Always at the top of her list of priorities is the safeguarding and welfare of the children, and her pursuit of educational excellence. Laura uses a range of self-evaluation and audit tools to analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to identify areas of exemplary practical and also identify any areas where quality may need development. progress is less than expected, it is this incisive evaluation of the practice leads that leads to highly effective teaching and learning for all. As such, she leads a nursery which has practice worthy of dissemination to others, and is often used by other nurseries in the community as a place to visit for inspiration
