My Summary

My Experience

I registered with the Care Inspectorate as a Childminder in 2013 and have two children of my own. I am a qualified childcare practitioner, helped to run a toddler group and volunteered at the local primary school, helping with school trips and to prepare learning resources before the pandemic. I aim to provide a safe environment where the children in my care can grow and develop while exploring the world around them. I follow the Scottish government's National Care Standards and the, 'Getting it Right for Every Child' framework to track the health and well being of children so that I can provide them with the best possible care.

My Qualifications

In 2020 I was awarded a SVQ in social services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7. I refresh my Pediatric First Aid regularly. I am registered to provide food and have a current Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate. I also maintain my Child Protection training. Each year I review my training needs and undertake any training I feel will develop the services I provide.

My Availability

My setting is open Tuesday to Thursday 8am until 5.30pm and Friday from 8am until 5pm.
I provide care for babies and provide funded childcare for 3 and 4 year olds and eligible 2 year olds through my partnership work with Falkirk Council. For school aged children I am available for before and after school care.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.50 per hour

I provide an hourly rate for school age children and daily rates for pre-school.
