About Me

We are a professional couple with three sons (aged 7, 4, and 2). We live in Cookham Dean.

My Requirements

Live In Nanny
Live Out Nanny
Full Time Nanny

We are looking for an experienced, warm and energetic full-time live-in nanny to care for our three boys, aged 2, 4 and 7½, at our family home in Berkshire.

Our two older children (aged 4 and 7½) are both at school full-time, so during the school day the nanny will primarily care for our 2-year-old. We are looking for someone who will become a trusted and long-term part of our family and who is confident managing three children of different ages.

HOURS

Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm (60 hours per week).

During term time, the two older children are at school, so the nanny will primarily care for our 2-year-old during school hours, alongside school drop-offs and collections. The nanny will care for all three children after school and during school holidays.

THE ROLE

The nanny will have sole-charge responsibility for the children and duties will include:

- Providing warm, attentive and engaging care for the children
- School drop-offs and collections
- Planning age-appropriate activities, outings and playdates
- Supporting the children’s routines, development and independence
- Preparing simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Helping with homework and reading where appropriate
- Organising and keeping on top of the children’s schedules, activities and belongings
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas and belongings tidy and organised
- Tidying up after the children and their meals
- One evening per week (weekdays only) babysitting.
- This is a nanny position rather than a nanny/housekeeper role. There is no general household cleaning or family laundry.

SPANISH LANGUAGE DESIRABLE BUT NOT NECESSARY

Candidates with native Spanish language skills will be particularly welcome to apply. We would ideally like someone who is happy to speak Spanish regularly with the children and encourage them to develop their Spanish naturally through everyday conversation, play, reading and activities. They all understand Spanish.

DRIVING

The nanny must be a confident and experienced driver with a full driving licence.

A car will be provided for all work-related driving.

ACCOMMODATION

We offer excellent private live-in accommodation within our home.

The nanny will have a newly renovated private annex comprising their own bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/seating/dining room with separate private utility area, providing a comfortable and separate living space.

HOLIDAYS AND TRAVEL

The position includes 20 days’ paid annual holiday plus UK bank holidays.

We may occasionally ask the nanny to travel with us on family holidays, both within the UK and abroad. Any travel would be discussed and agreed in advance, with appropriate travel arrangements and expenses covered by the family.

A An experienced professional nanny with strong references

PACKAGE

Salary: circa £45,000 to £50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
