About Me
I am a mother and glamorous grandma - so they say. I was a working parent thus I know how important childminding provision is for supporting parents who require someone who can provide the same care and protection they give their children.
I saw again this vital support childminder provides for my now-grown children. I contribute as well to this care, especially for my daughter, a nurse (shift worker), who requires flexible wrap-around care for her children.
I love looking after the children in my care and they love spending time with me. I provide them with varying interesting cultural experiences with indoor and outdoor activities, along with regular trips out. I ensure their development is well-rounded through play and learning. And of course, living in Wandsworth Town, I am also able to boast of being close to many amenities with good transport links: Schools, libraries, green spaces (St Georges and Battersea Park).
My Experience
Since February 2019, the care of three children (at ages 1, 4 and 9 then) and still ongoing. I have always loved and enjoyed working with children. I held volunteer roles as a Children Church leader, and holiday club children worker for some years. Hence I became a Childminder for a career change.
My Qualifications
Teaching (PGCE PCET), Business and Project Management. I am a multi-skilled professional who has held training, project, grants and volunteer coordinator roles. I am also an accredited Information, Advice and Guidance adviser. I am an effective communicator, collaborator, and organiser; all of these are essential skills for childminding.
My Availability
I provide flexible wrap-around care (school holiday care and before and after school care. I currently collect children from Floreat Wandsworth (Garrat Lane in Earlsfield). My provision is supporting shift workers hence available Monday to Sunday on a flexible agreement.
My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
Basic rate (full time) £9.00 per hour (£90 day)
Part-time £9.50 per hour
Before/After school-Term-time only / Occasional £9.50 per hour
Unsocial hours* (in addition to contracted hours) £9.50 per hour
(occasional/one-to-one care) £9:50 per hour
*before 8am or after 6pm/Weekends/Bank holidays
Reduced rate for more than one child from the same family.
Example: £1.00 per hour discount
NB. Applies when one child attends at least 20 hours per week
